When Squad 9 visits the library and returns to the row where the message had been burned into the floor in the Shadow World, they find the floor pristine. Unsurprisingly, probably. There's not even a loose or creaky floorboard. They're just standing in the reference section surrounded by books about local cartography, building ordinances, and town planning. Huh.

There's a lot to go through and the group doesn't know where to start, so they just start. Pansy finds maps of the shoreline and the cliffs, discovering the location of Squad 6's cave but also learning that it's almost never above water and that the entrance and the tunnel immediately beyond are quite narrow. It seems like a great place to drown. Before they're able to find anything else of interest, the librarian ushers them out for the library's closing. But it may be worth going back.
