Marty doesn't cross paths with Logan Axell immediately, but on Wednesday (02/27) he does find Logan and Claire eating dinner together in a local diner, spotting the pair as he passes by the window. They seem to be getting along a little better than usual. Claire is smiling and appears to be trying to convince her brother to play sugar packet football at their table while they wait for their food.
By the time Marty heads inside to get a closer look, the game has apparently started and Logan is holding up his fingers to form a field goal for Claire. The sugar packet she flicks hits him in the side of the face when he turns to look at Marty. While he's certainly not friendly toward the Finchwood boy (asking what he wants rather than just saying 'hello'), he isn't so defensive or volatile either and he seems to notice when the change in his mood makes his sister sink back in her seat. He seems more aware of himself.
The interaction from there is almost civil and if Marty invites himself to join them, it will take a few minutes for Logan to chase him off.
