Generally, non-students aren't allowed on campus and aren't allowed to attend school functions, including dances. To have a friend or family member allowed on campus, students have to get special permission from the staff (aka - a request would have to come to us through the dropbox) and this will happen very rarely (if at all).
There are a few exceptions to this, though and the play is one of them! The community is allowed to come on campus to attend the play. So Roger could come to the play (and he will if she invites him)!
It's worth noting that even when outsiders are allowed on campus, they're not allowed into the dormitories, athletics building, classroom building, etc. They're pretty much only allowed in the main building (auditorium and offices).
